The Twins have Monday off and Matt Garza will face the visiting Detroit Tigers at home on Tuesday. The Tigers will send Nate Robertson to the mound to try and cool off the hot Twins.
Glen Perkins rehab update
According to La Velle, Glen Perkins reaggravated his shoulder strain and according to Ron Gardenhire he's "back to square one" in his rehab. This isn't good for the Twins former first round pick, he was supposed to stretch his arm out to hopefully start later in the season, but it looks now that if/when he comes back this season, it will be as a reliever.
